Position Overview: Chads Design Build is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our Pre-Construction Team. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand and document project requirements.
• Support the development of Concept Plan Sets, integrating design elements and offering researched design solutions.
• Help create Permit Plan Sets that comply with local building codes.
• Produce Construction Plan Sets that are accurate and buildable for production teams.
• Address design and technical challenges.
• Participate in the estimating process by providing material take-offs and assisting with project scopes.
• Help manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring tasks are completed within set deadlines.
• Attend job site visits to learn about the production process and assist with quality control.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional single-family residential design experience, or a strong portfolio that demonstrates your potential.
• Graduate of licensed architecture program is a plus, but not required.
• Experience or interest in residential remodeling projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in Chief Architect is a plus, or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with building codes, construction processes, and basic building science
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and grow in client management.
• Basic understanding of residential architectural styles and current design trends.
• Competent in measuring spaces accurately and assessing site conditions.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $75,000-85,000 annually, based on experience and skill level.
