As an Assistant District Materials Manager, you will assist the District Materials Manager with reviewing asphalt mix designs, cement concrete mix designs, latex modified concrete mix designs, and field and plant quality control plans. You will also have the opportunity to attend and contribute to deck preplacement meetings, asphalt preplacement meetings, and micro surface preplacement meetings. In addition, you will oversee the inspection of cement concrete and latex modified concrete used in bridge construction and bridge preservation projects. You will be tasked with reviewing and approving material sources for all materials used in bridge construction and bridge preservation projects to ensure product quality and compliance with specification requirements.
