This Candidate / Junior Construction Manager (CM) position is a deliberate development role aimed at growing the business’s construction management capability over the next 24 months. It offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate who meets the required credentials and is seeking to further develop their experience in managing project execution within a structured, supportive environment.
The Candidate / Junior Construction Manager (CM) will be involved in the day-to-day execution of construction activities, focusing on safe, efficient, and compliant delivery in line with project specifications, SHEQ standards, timelines, and budgets set by the Project Manager (PM). The role is designed to progressively expand responsibility, enabling the successful candidate to enhance their technical, planning, and leadership skills while contributing meaningfully to project delivery and long-term organisational capacity.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education:
  • Post-graduate Diploma / BSc Hons in Construction Management  /Bachelors of the Built Environment, Honours in Construction Studies / BSc Hons in Construction Project Management. Only applicants with completed studies will be considered.
Additional Qualifications:
  • BTech Engineering/ Advanced Diploma or Bachelor (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or Equivalent.
  • Registered as a Candidate / Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM) at SACPCMP, PMI, Competency in NEC/FIDIC/JBCC contracts, Legal Liability, HIRA, IRCON, Environmental Law, Construction Regulations, OHSACT, Driver License.
Minimum Work Experience:
  • 5 years’ relevant practical experience in construction industry relevant to multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. Exposure in high voltage Energy sector will be an added advantage.
