The project:

This is a complex, large scale cultural theater project that includes a themed, cultural and arts park working with an amazing client and talented Mace team. This project will be of incredibly high-quality standards in a heavily regulated environment, suiting people with similar project experience that operate with the highest integrity and professionalism.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Provides engineering leadership across MEP delivery, guiding site teams to achieve safe, high-quality project outcomes.
• Manages dimensional control, validating surveys and installations to ensure readiness for subsequent works.
• Reviews design information and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve technical queries and maintain programme certainty.
• Oversees trade contractors, ensuring compliance with inspection, testing and quality assurance requirements.
• Leads inspections, verification activities and continuous improvement initiatives to drive project excellence.
• Develops high-performing teams while supporting Mace’s commitment to net zero carbon through proactive carbon management and reduction.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering with relevant professional accreditation.
• Proven experience delivering engineering and temporary works across complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional control, quality assurance, construction methods and 3D modelling.
• Collaborative leader with excellent communication, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
