Construction Manager

The Construction Manager oversees the execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to approved methodologies, schedules, and budgets. With a keen focus on quality, safety, and efficient resource allocation, they manage construction administration, conduct inspections, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project completion and handover in accordance with project requirements.

• Executes the work at site as per construction program, approved drawings, method statement etc.
• Follows project schedule and program of works. Incorporates revisions / changes to the construction program and adjusts resource schedule as appropriate
• Reports discrepancies if identified during construction and follows up for solutions
• Consults and coordinates with consultant and client regarding progress and quality of work. Coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers regarding quality, safety & progress and coordinates with Project Manager, Technical Manager, Project / Site Engineer.
• Conducts authority inspection as required. Arranges NOC as required.
• Ensures on time placement of orders for construction material, including formwork and shuttering system and follows up for delivery. Controls cost and quality of work. Conducts material / concrete testing as required.
• Understands and implements Intermass QHSE standards and ensures progress of work as per the approved drawings.
• Manages labour allocation. Ensures safety & welfare of the workforce. Ensures PPE is issued to the workers and that the housekeeping standards are implemented
• Completes and hands over the works as per the project requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 12 years in construction within UAE / GCC.
• Proven managerial experience in completing and handing over of large projects for a reputed organization.
• Knowledge of construction activities from tendering, execution to handover
• Ability to lead and manage large teams of employees, sub contractor labour etc
• Analytical and problem solving mindset
• Meticulous and detail-oriented working style
