Our client is looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to take responsibility for the successful execution of multiple high-end residential developments in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in luxury construction, combined with the leadership ability to manage teams and drive projects to completion.
Requirements:
- 7–10 years' experience in construction management.
- Education: BSc/BTech/NDip in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or a related built-environment field
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong background in high-end and luxury residential developments.
- Demonstrated experience managing construction teams and subcontractors.
- Strong project planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A professional, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct construction activities across multiple residential developments.
- Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure efficient site operations.
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction process.
- Monitor project timelines, progress and quality.
- Coordinate resources and ensure construction activities are properly planned.
- Address site challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained across all projects.
- Support the successful completion and handover of residential developments.
