HIGH-VISIBILITY PROJECT. STRONG COMPENSATION. IMMEDIATE IMPACT.

Sheakley is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the field execution of a large-scale roof replacement project in Bethesda, Maryland.

This is not a desk-only project management position. We need a hands-on construction leader who can command the field, coordinate subcontractors, protect the schedule, monitor costs, enforce safety requirements, and resolve issues before they impact project delivery.

The right professional will bring the perfect balance of field leadership and project administration, with experience supporting scheduling, cost control, estimating, quality assurance, and contractor coordination.

COMPENSATION

✈️ Travelers: $55-$58 per hour, plus $200 per day in per diem
🏠 Local Candidates: $60-$68 per hour
πŸ’Έ Pay Frequency: Weekly

SCHEDULE

πŸ•’ Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
πŸ“… Schedule: Monday-Friday, plus one Saturday per month
🌞 Shift: Day Shift

THE PROJECT

The Construction Manager will oversee daily operations for a major roof replacement project, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

You will serve as a central point of coordination between contractors, subcontractors, field personnel, and project stakeholders. Your leadership will be critical to maintaining schedule performance, controlling costs, protecting quality standards, and minimizing disruptions throughout the five-month project lifecycle.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

πŸ”Ή Lead daily field operations for all roof replacement activities
πŸ”Ή Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, field personnel, and stakeholders
πŸ”Ή Enforce OSHA and EM 385 safety requirements
πŸ”Ή Monitor project schedules, milestones, and overall progress
πŸ”Ή Identify and resolve field issues affecting cost, quality, or schedule
πŸ”Ή Conduct site inspections and verify workmanship
πŸ”Ή Support project cost administration and budget tracking
πŸ”Ή Assist with estimating, change management, and scope review
πŸ”Ή Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports
πŸ”Ή Support final inspections, punch-list completion, and project closeout

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

βœ… OSHA 30 certification
βœ… EM 385
βœ… Construction management experience on commercial or industrial projects
βœ… Project scheduling experience
βœ… Cost administration or budget-tracking experience
βœ… Construction estimating experience
βœ… Strong subcontractor and field personnel management skills
βœ… Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination abilities
βœ… Ability to work full-time on-site in Bethesda, Maryland
βœ… Availability to work one Saturday per month

HIGHLY PREFERRED

⭐ Roof replacement or building-envelope project experience
⭐ Experience managing complex projects in active or occupied environments
⭐ Strong project controls, change management, and closeout experience
