DescriptionThe Construction Manager – Data Center Construction, JAPAC will be based in Bangkok, Thailand and will provide local construction leadership for data center projects across Thailand and the wider JAPAC region. This role will oversee site execution, contractor performance, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and project coordination to ensure successful delivery of data center construction projects.
The position will support business growth in Thailand by improving local oversight, strengthening contractor management, reducing execution risk, and helping the regional construction team scale effectively across Southeast Asia

- Lead day-to-day construction management for data center projects in Bangkok, Thailand and across JAPAC as required.
- Manage site execution, contractor performance, schedule progress, quality, safety, and project coordination.
- Support Senior Construction Managers with project delivery, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, design teams, operations, procurement, finance, legal, and project controls.
- Monitor construction progress against approved scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.
- Identify and escalate project risks, blockers, schedule delays, cost impacts, quality issues, or safety concerns.
- Support contractor onboarding, site mobilization, project kickoff, and construction readiness activities.
- Review construction documentation, project schedules, method statements, RFIs, submittals, change requests, and progress reports.
- Support cost management activities, including change order review, cost tracking, forecasting input, and invoice validation.
- Drive compliance with company standards, local requirements, governance processes, and data center construction best practices.
- Lead regular project meetings, site walks, progress reviews, and contractor coordination sessions.
- Support commissioning, handover, closeout documentation, lessons learned, and transition to operations.
- Provide clear reporting on project status, risks, actions, schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance.
- Travel up to 25% across Thailand and the JAPAC region as required to support project delivery.
Experience

6–10 years of relevant construction management experience in data center, critical facilities, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
- Data center or critical facilities construction experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, consultants, and construction teams on complex technical projects.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, site coordination, safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and project reporting.
- Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and architectural construction activities in technically complex environments.
- Experience with project controls, change management, risk tracking, cost forecasting, and construction governance.
- Ability to operate in a regional environment across multiple stakeholders, countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Experience working in Thailand or Southeast Asia construction markets is preferred.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates, manage stakeholders, coordinate with contractors, and communicate effectively across regional and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
