Construction Manager (General Santos, Philippines)

The Construction Manager will oversee project execution to ensure strict compliance with approved designs, timelines, and budgets. This role is based in General Santos and Iligan City.

Key responsibilities:

• Secure construction and related work permits.
• Develop and implement robust financial control systems.
• Lead the completion of construction activities, ensuring thorough documentation and quality inspections.
• Review project plans and specifications for technical accuracy and practical feasibility.
• Monitor contractors and provide oversight to guarantee adherence to contractual, safety, and quality standards.
• Evaluate and approve submittals.
• Conduct regular field inspections.
• Implement and enforce construction safety and quality programs.
• Perform other duties relevant to the role as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of construction experience.
• Resident of General Santos or Iligan City.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the construction process.
• Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software and MS Office applications.
• Holder of Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
