Reports to Project Lead and coordinate with the Project Lead to define project objectives and deliverables and oversee day-to-day project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, budget and quality standards.
Lead the project team, ensuring effective execution and coordination of project activities and monitor progress toward the achievement of project goals and objectives.
Respond and resolve customer complaints arising from the project implementation with the relevant Dept./Section/Region to ensure timely and effective management of the issue/complaint
Allocate project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials by monitoring resource utilization and identifying any potential bottlenecks or constraints to achieve optimum resource allocation.
To prepare letters, minutes of meetings/discussions, reports and any related documentation required for the execution and completion of the project
Maintain regular networking and communication with various stakeholders, including Government Agencies, Authorities, contractors, suppliers, local communities and other stakeholders to keep relevant stakeholders informed of project progress, milestones and changes to ensure smooth execution of the project.
Keep abreast of the latest regulatory rules and guidelines to ensure project implementation is carried out within stipulated standards and requirements
Monitor and identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and take appropriate actions to minimize the impact to ensure compliance with regulations and safety measures.
Conduct weekly and monthly progress meetings and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications and other relevant laws by conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress and identify any deviations and required to resolve any technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
Establish, coach, advise and monitor people’s performance across the project team in both management skills and technical expertise to ensure the capability and competency are aligned to overall business goals and expectations.
Carry out any special assignment or specific task as and when required.
Qualifications
Degree Holder in Civil Engineering and any related discipline
At least 10 years’ experience in highway management/constructions or relevant field.
