Construction Manager / Site Manager - Building
A well-established and reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and deliver high-quality building projects from inception through to completion.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' experience within the construction industry
- Proven track record managing complex construction projects
- Strong leadership, planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, quality standards, and health & safety legislation
- Ability to effectively manage project budgets, programmes, subcontractors, and site teams
- Experience updating and managing monthly construction programmes
- A qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities
- Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular management reports
- Implement recovery plans where project delays occur and drive projects back on programme
