Construction Manager (Water Sector)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery, quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Job Description:

• Manage civil construction projects from planning through to completion
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and schedules
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, specifications, and safety requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in civil construction
• Strong experience with water-retaining concrete structures
• Proven experience on WWTW, deep pump station, and reservoir projects
• Experience delivering at least 2–3 similar projects valued above R30 million
• Strong project planning and scheduling skills, including MS Project or Candy

Qualification:

• BTech or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, or BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering
• SACPCMP and/or ECSA registration
