A-Zone Environmental Services is an environmental remediation, construction, drilling, and water treatment operations nationwide contractor. We are looking for a construction manager with 7+ years of experience. This position would be responsible for managing projects pertaining to our construction division. Typical projects would include, but are not limited to: stormwater construction, landfill capping, soil removal actions, slope stabilization, demolition, underground storage tank removal, and stream restoration

Your Role:  

Roles and responsibilities are identified below. Please note that the below does not provide a complete list but should be viewed as a general description. 

  • Oversee the planning and execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, project schedules and budgets. 
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination. 
  • Mange and lead a construction crew, subcontractors, and vendors. 
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices on construction sites. 
  • Review project plans, construction drawings, and specifications. 
  • Coordinate the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure timely availability. 
  • Conduct regular site visits to projects to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement change orders. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about project status and addressing their concerns. 
  • Ensure that project meets quality standards and is completed with attention to detail. 
  • Control costs and ensure that there are no project overruns. 
  • Manage and communicate with clients in a professional and respectful manner. 
  • Create estimates for potential work opportunities. 

Certifications/Licenses Desired: 

  • Certified Professional Engineer/Certified Professional Geologist 
  • USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors 
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER 
  • OSHA 30 Hour
