POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an Interior Designer to design High-end luxury residential properties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as an integral part of the overall design team
  • Manages interiors projects from schematic design through construction administration 
  • Works with the architectural team to manage client, schedule, and budget 
  • Responsible for casework design including shop drawings, organization and delivery
  • Leads overall design including architectural designs, millwork, furniture selection, fabric selections, lighting design, etc.
  • Manages specifications, purchasing, scheduling, and installation
  • Prepares client proposals, presentation boards (physical and digital), estimates, and scopes of work
  • Works with Director of Finance to execute timely invoicing, monitor and resolve billing questions and conflicts
  • Coordinates all consultants, or oversees consultant coordination by another team member and accepts all responsibility for correctness and efficiency
  • Expected to work independently to advance projects to meet schedule and budget, with minimum oversight
  • Assists with firm marketing efforts including award submittals, Request for Proposals, awards presentations, project narratives, attending events, etc.
  • Expected to alert management/owner with critical issues, client schedule concerns, budget concerns, ethical concerns or policy matters
  • Expected to research technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Interior Design preferred
  • 3 or more years of professional interior design experience
  • Proficient in CAD systems (Revit preferred), InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in hand drawing

At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000 annually.  Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
