Interior Design
Our client is a leading design organization bringing together talented architects and designers to create thoughtful, high-performing spaces across a diverse portfolio of projects. The Interior Designer will contribute to projects from early concepts through project completion, working within a collaborative team that values design quality and technical excellence. This role offers the opportunity to shape interior environments while partnering closely with architectural and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Interior Design & Space Planning efforts, developing functional layouts and design solutions that align with project goals, user needs, and architectural intent.
- Produce Construction Documentation and detailed interior drawing packages while coordinating design information across project disciplines.
- Develop design presentations, visual studies, renderings, and other project materials using Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support Construction Administration activities, including submittal reviews, field observations, RFIs, and project coordination through Procore.
- Apply Building Codes & ADA Compliance requirements throughout the design process and coordinate solutions with architectural and engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture required.
- 6+ years of professional interior design experience with increasing responsibility on architectural projects.
- Architecture license required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Revit and BIM Coordination workflows.
- Experience using AutoCAD for technical drawings and design documentation.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, material applications, and interior construction methods.
- NCIDQ, AIA, LEED, or another professional accreditation preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout project delivery.
