A day in the life of an Interior Designer.

  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop compelling interior design solutions tailored to client goals and vision
  • Produce design presentations, finish boards, space plans, FF&E packages, and construction documentation
  • Participate in design charrettes, user group meetings, and product research
  • Manage finish and furniture selections, ensuring cohesive, code-compliant, and sustainable solutions
  • Coordinate with internal team members, consultants, contractors, and vendors across project phases
  • Assist with construction administration activities including submittal review, punch lists, and site visits
  • Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables under the guidance of senior designers and project architects
  • Communicate design intent clearly with internal teams and external partners
  • Contribute to a culture of learning, collaboration, and curiosity
     
Requirements

Your skill set.

  • 3–5 years of interior design experience in a professional setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
  • NCIDQ certification or active pursuit of certification preferred
  • LEED AP preferred
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
  • A strong design sensibility with the ability to translate ideas into thoughtful, functional, and beautiful interiors
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
  • Ability to prepare interior construction documents and finish/furniture specifications with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating with architects, consultants, and clients throughout the design process
  • Confident communicator, both visually and verbally, with a knack for storytelling through design
  • Positive, curious, and nimble – excited by problem-solving and pushing creative boundaries
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a valid work visa to legally work in the U.S.
