Role Overview
Our client is a premier global luxury furniture and design brand with 22 international showrooms, launching an exclusive, boutique showroom in Coral Gables, FL. Known for high-end craftsmanship and sophisticated contemporary design, they are seeking a polished, high-performing sales professional with a strong design background to drive trade and retail sales, cultivate relationships with top interior designers, and deliver bespoke spatial solutions across South Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales: Identify customer needs and recommend suitable luxury furniture solutions to close high-ticket retail and trade orders.
- Cultivate B2B Relationships: Proactively outreach and network with local interior designers, architects, and high-net-worth clients across Coral Gables and the Greater Miami area to build a consistent book of business.
- Design Consultation: Provide expert guidance on space planning, materials, custom finishes, and aesthetics (ability to read floor plans or sketch layouts is a major plus).
- Proposals & CRM Management: Prepare quotations, presentations, and sales proposals using the ODOO system (training provided) and maintain accurate client records via CRM software.
- Order & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate order processing, shipping, and direct communication with production teams and warehouse logistics.
- Spatial Planning & Layouts: Develop furniture layouts and design proposals using AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D visualization tools to create space-planning solutions incorporating brand products.
- Industry Outreach: Collaborate with architectural and interior design firms throughout South Florida to support regional design projects and promote the brand.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience) with previous success in sales, account management, or luxury furniture/interior design sales.
- High-Net-Worth Sales: Proven track record selling to high-net-worth clients with strong personal networking capabilities.
- Regional Network: Existing contacts within the Coral Gables, Miami, and South Florida interior design and luxury residential industry are a significant advantage.
- Technical Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, or related design software is a plus; familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ODOO) is an advantage.
- Design Acumen: Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture integration, materials, and design presentation techniques.
- Exemplary Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage and build rapport with affluent clientele.
- Schedule: Ability to work full-time on-site, including weekend days as required by retail showroom traffic (one weekend day and one weekday off).
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annually plus
- Commission Structure: Uncapped commission based on sales (expected additional earning potential of ~$6,000 per month).
- Total Estimated Earnings: $150,000 – $160,000+ per year.
