Professional Construction Manager (PrCPM)

An established building contractor is seeking an experienced Professional Construction Manager (PrCPM) to take the lead on multiple building projects throughout the Western Cape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, coordination and successful delivery of building projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage multiple building projects from inception through to completion.
• Oversee project teams, Site Managers, Contracts Managers and subcontractors.
• Ensure effective project planning, programming and resource allocation.
• Manage project budgets, cost control and contractual obligations.
• Monitor construction progress, quality control and health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and engineers.
• Identify and resolve project challenges to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain professional standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Professionally registered Construction Manager (PrCPM) with SACPCMP.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Extensive experience managing building and construction projects.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering projects from start to finish.
• Strong leadership, commercial and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different geographical locations.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the Western Cape.
