Job Summary

Hidden Talent is recruiting a Project Architect on behalf of Work Architecture in Louisville, KY. This individual will play a key leadership role within the firm, overseeing the technical execution, quality, and successful delivery of multiple projects.

The Project Architect will work closely with Directors, Project Managers, consultants, and clients to ensure projects move efficiently from proposal through construction administration. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, technical coordination, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and at a high level of quality.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor others while maintaining a strong focus on quality control and client satisfaction.

This role reports to the Directors and Partners of the firm.


Responsibilities

  • Produce and oversee architectural designs and construction documents
  • Coordinate technical details with consultants and engineers
  • Ensure projects meet building codes, permit requirements, and industry standards
  • Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members
  • Manage projects from proposal through contract administration
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, documentation, and team assignments
  • Support Project Managers and junior team members
  • Solve technical challenges throughout design and construction
  • Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and at a high level of quality
  • Mentor staff and support the professional development of team members
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience within an architecture firm
  • Architecture degree required
  • Licensure required
  • Registered Architect referred
  • Strong Revit and construction documentation skills
  • Experience producing redlines and technical details
  • Strong knowledge of codes, specifications, and constructibility
  • Experience leading teams and managing projects preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,000–$95,000 depending on experience
