Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in architectural design

• 5+ years of experience designing large-scale multifamily projects

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field

• Licensed architect in one of the 50 states (financial support provided for reciprocity in Washington)

• 5+ years of professional experience using Revit

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, or similar tools

• In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and multifamily design standards

• Understanding of sustainable design principles

• Ability to lead project design with minimal oversight

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Address zoning code issues, ensuring compliance and clarity

• Prepare and present design concepts to project team

• Produce high-quality construction documents using Revit/BIM

• Manage project drawings and ensure timely completion

• Coordinate site plans and review grading/drainage compliance

• Participate in project meetings, hearings, and oversee lifecycles

• Lead assigned projects, ensuring adherence to standards

• Provide site observations and document contract conformance

• Review consultant scopes of work and proposals

• Deliver weekly progress reports and resolve issues promptly

• Coordinate with external consultants and serve as primary contact

• Monitor consultant work, ensure ADA compliance, and review drawings

• Contribute to establishing new design standards and best practices

• Foster teamwork, mentor junior staff, and manage project schedules

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000 per year
