The Reconstruction Manager oversees construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality service and smooth execution. This role manages customer relationships, subcontractors, internal staff, and overall project operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee customer and client experience
• Develop scopes of work and review estimates
• Sell and manage approved projects
• Coordinate scheduling with technicians, subs, and suppliers
• Create project timelines and manage execution
• Handle permits, budgets, and project documentation
• Perform QA, address issues, and complete walkthroughs
• Manage job files, expenses, and final payments
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Oversee warranty and safety compliance
• Ensure work meets scope, plans, and local codes
• Execute Construction Coordinator/Superintendent duties as needed
• Support team development and job site safety
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED required; PMP a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and intermediate math proficiency
• Background in restoration/construction preferred
Physical & Work Conditions
• Active role with walking, driving, climbing, and loud job sites
• Exposure to heat and variable site conditions
Schedule & Travel
• Full-time, M–F, 8am–5pm; may include weekends/on-call
• Local travel required; occasional overnight travel possible
