What You'll Do
As our Senior Architect / Project Designer, you'll lead the design process for home transformations that are both stunning and smart. You'll work closely with homeowners and our internal teams to bring ideas to life-blending design, buildability, and sustainability at every stage.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client design conversations and translate dreams into buildable concepts
  • Develop complete Concept, Permit, and Construction Plan Sets
  • Integrate interior design elements into architectural plans
  • Ensure code compliance, buildability, and clear documentation
  • Collaborate on estimating with accurate material take-offs and scopes
  • Conduct job site visits and support the build team with clear guidance
  • Balance creative freedom with disciplined time management and budgets

What You Bring
We're looking for someone who sees the big picture and the fine details.

Required:

  • 5+ years of residential design experience (remodeling preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of materials, codes, and building science
  • Excellent design sensibility and client communication skills
  • Familiarity with residential architectural styles and current trends
  • Competent in measuring spaces and developing clear, accurate drawings
  • Proficiency in Chief Architect or excited to become proficient quickly

Nice to Have:

  • Passive House knowledge or certification
  • Experience working in a design/build environment
