Overview
The Senior Construction Manager – Depot will lead depot construction delivery activities including buildings, workshops, maintenance facilities, utilities, MEP, and operational infrastructure.
Your role
- Manage construction delivery for depot and maintenance facility infrastructure.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary site teams.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and programme performance.
- Review construction methodologies, sequencing, and temporary works proposals.
- Coordinate interfaces between depot systems, utilities, MEP, and operational requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Provide regular reporting on construction progress, risks, and mitigation measures.
About you
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ construction management experience.
- Experience delivering depots, maintenance facilities, industrial, or transportation infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of MEP, utilities, and operational facility requirements.
- Proven leadership of large construction teams.
- Strong stakeholder and contractor management capability.
- Experience in testing and commissioning coordination preferred.
- Knowledge of health and safety management systems essential.
