About the Role

You'll be at the heart of the design-build process, taking the lead on space planning, finish selections, and drafting to turn big ideas into buildable, budget-aligned solutions. We're looking for a designer who is either skilled in Chief Architect or excited to learn. Strong CAD and documentation skills are essential; we'll provide the tools and support to grow with us.

What You'll Do

  • Lead client design meetings and develop creative yet practical residential remodeling solutions
  • Draft detailed layouts, elevations, and cabinet designs using Chief Architect (training provided if needed)
  • Translate ideas into construction-ready documents and spec packages
  • Select finishes, fixtures, and materials that align with client tastes and project goals
  • Work hand-in-hand with Project Managers and Estimators to ensure feasibility and clarity
  • Stay involved during construction to maintain design integrity and client satisfaction

You're a Fit If You...

  • Have 5+ years of interior design experience, preferably in remodeling or residential architecture
  • Are a CAD whiz (AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or similar) with an eye for precision
  • Love working with homeowners and guiding them through the design journey
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving, client-centered environment
  • Have strong project ownership and organizational skills
  • Are excited about working with a top-tier design-build firm that values both quality and people

Compensation & Benefits
