About the Role

  • Lead the development of design concepts, processes, and deliverables. Also manage construction document development, modifications, and reviews in REVIT.   
  • Knowledge of code, regulations, products, and applications.  
  • Guide and mentor junior designers. 
  • Lead in selecting fixtures and finishes 
  • Collaborate on projects with architectural team and acts as a liaison for interior’s team.  
  • Manage external consultants such as MEP, structural engineers, low voltage designers, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators. 
  • Identify and pursue project opportunities.  Supports the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews.    
  • Listen to clients and provide design solutions that fits the budget, and timeline.  Also may participate in client focused organizations at a leadership level.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture from accredited University or equivalent work experience.   
  • Pursuing, licensed, or certified with NCIDQ or ARE preferred.  LEED accredited professional preferred.
  • Typically, 8+ years of progressive experience.   
  • Experience in various commercial, educational, and/ or hospitality project types and scales is preferred. 
  • Extensive understanding of interior architectural systems and design. 
  • Proficient in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam studio, Adobe Design Programs. Basic understanding of AutoCAD. 
  • Ability to lead project teams effectively while creating a harmonious project team. 


Benefits

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $67,000-$80,000.
