About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead a team of project architects supporting a large, diverse portfolio—educational, office, medical, residential, historic, religious, and more—across 70+ properties and 9M+ square feet.
This role blends design leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship in a mission‑driven environment where your work has lasting, global impact.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Vision: As an owner’s representative, set design and technical direction for complex projects; assemble and lead in-house design teams and consultants from concept through post-occupancy.
Collaboration: Coordinate scope, schedule, and cost with project managers; partner with consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
Mentorship: Coach architects, designers, and interns; foster growth and an inclusive team culture.
Client Engagement: Partner with leaders and stakeholders to define scope and present progress and recommendations.
Quality & Accountability: Define requirements and deliver to budget, schedule, and high design/construction standards.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current on best practices, codes, and tools; explore ideas that improve experiences in our portfolio of facilities.

Key Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Master’s preferred)
Licensed architect with 10+ years of professional experience
Proven leader of design teams and consultants on complex projects
Strong background in design management from concept through occupancy
Ability to coordinate design and construction administration with project managers
Experience across multiple building types and uses
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and document management systems
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and team‑building skills
