Site Construction Manager

Location: Lephalale, Limpopo

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Site Construction Manager to join our team on a contractor basis. As a Site Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing medium to large construction projects, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your Profile

• N6 technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical engineering.
• Registered with SACPCMP.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in construction projects.
• Experience in handling multifaceted teams.
• Prior experience in control and instrumentation projects.
• NEC contracts training.
• Knowledge of construction regulations and OHS Act.

Your Responsibilities

General

• Analyze the contractual scope of works.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Organize teams and set priorities.
• Plan construction activities in alignment with the project schedule.
• Prepare method statements for critical activities.
• Ensure safe working conditions.
• Attend client meetings.

Project Specific

• Ensure site compliance with regulations.
• Supervise subcontractors.
• Appointment of assistant supervisors.
• Interact with the client on construction matters.
• Track progress and report updates.
• Assist in formulating or defending claims.
• Maintain non-conformances at a minimum.
• Assist in risk management.
• Hand over completed installations for acceptance.
• Manage materials and inventory on-site.

Rate: Negotiable (R400.00 - R500.00/hr) + accommodation and subsistence
