Little, recognized as one of the top five “Healthiest Places to Work” by Charlotte Business Journal, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a passion for high quality design, interior architecture, and a positive and collaborative work style for our Workplace Interiors Studio in our Charlotte, NC office.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be a talented, resourceful, and creative design leader who is passionate about creating environments that improve the performance of our clients and enhance people’s lives through creative collaboration and breakthrough ideas.    

Responsibilities Include

Design Leadership

  • Lead design efforts in our Interiors practice, working directly with clients and project teams.
  • Design interior spaces for a variety of workplace clients aligning with their culture and success drivers.
  • Advocate for and implement sustainable and wellness design strategies.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with studio leaders to execute strategic plans that grow our office and diversify our client mix.
  • Collaborate with Design Principals and Partners across studios and offices to shape the firm’s evolving design vision.
  • Serve as a thought leader, uncovering breakthrough ideas that matter to clients and their communities.

Mentorship & Culture

  • Mentor and coach team members, empowering others to contribute to design excellence.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and fun work environment.

Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture from an accredited university.
  • NCIDQ or NCARB certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the architecture & design industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, InDesign, and other design software.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to simplify complex ideas and listen with empathy.
  • A collaborative spirit and ability to build followership among clients and teammates.
  • A passion for sustainability, wellness, and purposeful design.
