Your Impact:
- Transportation planning/engineering related research
- Conduct transportation planning/engineering related analyses
- Prepare maps & graphics for client presentations, community meetings, workshops, and reports/grants under the supervision of our senior transportation planning staff
- Attend and participate in community engagement activities and meetings, document input received, and engage with the public and stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of technical memorandums and reports to communicate technical results and recommendations
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in urban planning, engineering, urban geography or related field
- Strong communication skills and work ethic (bilingual in Spanish and/or Korean is a plus)
- Works independently, taking initiative and working well with a team to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of GIS, Microsoft Office products, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
- Experience with ArcGIS and travel demand modeling (vehicle miles traveled analysis) is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in planning-related report writing, outreach/engagement facilitation, and graphic design is desirable
The range for this position is between $33 - $36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment
