ABOUT THE ROLE
The EMEA Transportation Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing transportation plans across Europe, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high service levels and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support the rollout and daily use of the Transportation Management System (TMS) across EMEA.
Work closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and on time deliveries.
Monitor shipments through TMS and carrier tracking tools, solving issues as they arise.
Optimize routes, carrier selection, and transport plans to improve cost and delivery performance.
Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Manage carrier allocation, rate processes, and regular operational reviews. Ensure agreed transportation allocation and backup processes are followed.
Handle daily unplanned transport events.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in all transport activities.
Control transportation costs, verify invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and performance metrics.
ABOUT YOU
Preferably University degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Business Management or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in transport operations or claiming within Supply Chain.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions within defined parameters.
Skills in Project Management, Planning, and Transportation Management.
Fluent in English + an additional European language.
Problem Solving mind. Effectively communication skills, and ability to contribute to strategic logistics initiatives.
Availability to travel 10-20% (40-50% during your onboarding)
