Description
This position performs as a fully competent professional and Project Manager in all aspects of the subject matter of assignments. Develops and evaluates plans for various assignments including tasks done by others. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposal preparation. Performs and manages complex, sensitive professional planning and/or design projects, research and analysis, strategy and/or concept development, oversees specialized planning functions. Typical projects: long range, regional, and multi-modal transportation planning studies, and corridor studies and/or planning and initial design for transportation improvements for specific segments or intersection projects. Is expected to manage clients, track project budgets, engage in business development, and professional networking. Often requires effort outside normal business hours to meet client requests and/or attend meetings.

Job Prerequisites
• 10 years of experience, including 3 to 4 years supervisory.
• AICP Certification is required or Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure.
• Active member of a professional practice organization.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of transportation planning.
Pay Range: $50.48-$57.69/hour
