- Develop architectural designs from conceptual sketches to detailed construction documents, including technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with national/local building regulations, zoning laws, fire safety standards, and environmental impact assessments.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) specialists, and contractors to ensure integrated and buildable designs.
- Prepare tender documentation, assist in contractor selection, and manage contract administration during the construction phase.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address on-site challenges.
- Honours or Master’s degree in Architecture (BArch/MArch) or a related field.
- Registered/licensed Architect (e.g., RIBAR, ARB, or local regulatory equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.
- Ability to resolve on-site technical issues and adapt plans based on field challenges.
- Meticulous approach to documentation and technical detailing.
