Summary of Position:

As an Architectural CAD Techniciansupporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be an integral part of our team, working under the supervision of Project Architects to prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings in line with our company's standards. Responsibilities:

  • Set up drawings according to company standards for title blocks, layers, fonts, and line weights.
  • Prepare conceptual site plans, aerial overlays, building plans, maps, and exhibits.
  • Prepare preliminary and final construction documents.
  • Update drawings in response to design modifications, redlines, and comments.
  • Assemble plan sets for submission to agencies in PDF and Hard Copy
  • Conduct spell checking / cross-referencing / quality control / revision tracking.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of on the job experience is required but 2+ years of experience is preferred working with an A/E design firm preparing Preliminary Design and Construction Documents
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD drafting software with an emphasis on Revit
  • Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, and AutoTURN experience a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of all forms of MS office software
  • Candidates that aspire to become licensed architects are a plus. The ability to work independently, follow instructions, balance a diverse workload, and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills

Team:

You will work with a team of architectural designs, project managers and project architects.


Work Location:

This is a hybrid role based out of our Kent, WA office.
