What you'll do:

Provide holiday coverage for the team, ensuring residential projects keep moving smoothly across all phases.

Support single-family residential projects across Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), Permit, and Construction Documentation (CD) phases.

Prepare SD sets of plans, including floor plans, sections, and elevations.

Develop DD sets of plans, including floor plans, sections, and elevations.

Pick up and resolve design redlines accurately during the SD and CD phases.

Produce complete Construction Document (CD) sets for presentation to general contractors.

Prepare permit sets for submission to local authorities, preferably in California.

Review drawings for technical accuracy, consistency, and constructability.

Communicate technical questions and potential issues proactively to the project lead.

Produce and revise drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, using Enscape for visualization and Bluebeam for markups and document review.

Follow the firm's documentation standards, templates, file organization, and workflows.

Collaborate closely with the project lead and team, quickly ramping up to work independently during the coverage period.
What you must have:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.

Proven professional experience in residential architectural production.

Advanced English level.

Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Proficiency in Enscape and Bluebeam.

Proven experience producing residential design documentation from SD through CD phases.

Experience picking up and incorporating redlines accurately.

Experience preparing permit sets for local authorities.

Experience producing complete Construction Document (CD) sets for general contractors.

Strong experience working on single-family residential projects.

Solid knowledge of U.S. residential design standards and construction documentation.

Experience working on residential projects in California is highly valued.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate design intent into clear, buildable documentation.

Ability to get up to speed quickly and work independently in a full-time remote role aligned with Pacific Time (PT).
