We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Architect with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio of built work, leadership in project delivery, and a deep understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, project management, and client engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the firm’s design excellence and innovation while growing our business in the Phoenix and surrounding markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through construction.
  • Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to firm standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect in Arizona; NCARB certification required.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, institutional, educational, civic).
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and sustainable design practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

Preferred Attributes:

  • LEED Accreditation or other sustainability credentials.
  • Experience with Design-Build or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.

Annual Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
