Your Opportunity
We are recruiting a 2/1 FIFO Construction Manager with experience in self-perform civil Infrastructure projects who have a genuine interest to positively influence project delivery and promote a memorable culture at Whittens. Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, execution, and completion of civil infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety practices and mitigate risks.
- Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Liaise with stakeholders to communicate project status, address concerns, and negotiate contractual agreements.
To Be Successful, You will Have the Following
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
- At least 8 years+ experience with a Civil Contractor overseeing self-perform civil infrastructure projects - A must
- Excellent planning, monitoring and documentation skills
- Experience with FIFO infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Demonstrated safety and environmental leadership behaviour
- Self-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
