Job Title:  Construction Manager 2
Location:  Phoenix , AZ
Salary Range:  $65/hr to $70/hr on W2 

Introduction

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for leading quality assurance and quality control activities throughout all phases of data center construction. This role ensures work is installed in accordance with contract documents, approved submittals, manufacturer requirements, commissioning requirements, and client quality standards. The QA/QC Manager serves as the primary quality lead, driving defect prevention, inspections, documentation compliance, turnover readiness, and issue resolution across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and telecom scopes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of construction quality, QA/QC, commissioning, or field engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or data center projects.
• Experience delivering hyperscale data centers is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection and testing requirements, commissioning processes, and turnover documentation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and construction quality programs.
• Experience with turnover, startup, and commissioning processes.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience delivering hyperscale data centers is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection and testing requirements, commissioning processes, and turnover documentation.
• Experience managing punch lists, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality audits.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project quality plans.
• Drive implementation of quality processes and inspection programs.
• Lead quality audits and field inspections.
• Perform routine site walks with contractors, designers, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure quality documentation is complete, accurate, and uploaded to required systems.
