Gamewell Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and team leadership.  This role requires a keen understanding of construction processes, excellent time management skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. We are searching for someone that has a growth mindset and values training staff to grow the next generation of leaders in the field.

What You’ll Do:

  • Overall project field leadership for Large Projects Group
    • Monitor and cultivate high morale and positive attitude
    • Develop and promote team environment
    • Use good judgment to make positive decisions for the projects and own those decisions
  • Participate and collaborate with VP of Operations, Project Manager(s), and General Superintendent(s) to provide overall project planning and execution
  • Understand contract documents and scope
  • Grow and maintain customer and owner relations
  • Build and monitor Field Teams for Large Projects Group
  • Work with upper management to determine current workloads and upcoming projects needed to maintain or grow Group
  • Manage General Superintendents, Superintendents, Foremen, and Craft Personnel
  • Address and handle field issues that arise to a positive outcome


Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous project management experience is required, including working with owners, GC’s, engineers, and project teams.
  • Experience in large commercial or industrial projects is preferred, with ideal focus in the pharma industry.
  • Current OSHA 30 certification
  • Proficiency in:
    • Communication with others via email, voice or in person meetings
    • Microsoft Outlook, Xcel, Word, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Primavera and/ or Microsoft Projects, financial and other software as required to perform tasks
    • Jobsite management software systems such as Procore, BIM 360, etc.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. 
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. 
    • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
