About the Opportunity

Pathway Talent Partners is supporting a well-established and highly respected organization in identifying a strong leader to oversee construction operations at a significant project site in Fargo, ND. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safety, operational excellence, and long-term success across a range of complex construction initiatives.

As the key on-site leader, this role will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to financial performance and stakeholder coordination. This is a highly visible leadership role with strategic importance for future site development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the construction team to uphold strict safety standards, ensure project quality, and achieve financial targets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including preconstruction, estimating, BIM/VDC, procurement, accounting, quality control, and commissioning

  • Drive project scheduling, forecasting, billing, and cash flow management in partnership with internal stakeholders

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client-side leadership and project partners

  • Oversee site operations and logistics, ensuring seamless integration of all project phases and functions

  • Maintain clear oversight of subcontractor coordination, material delivery timelines, and fabrication schedules

  • Support financial integrity through GMP tracking, earned value analysis, and ongoing budget monitoring

  • Engage in routine executive updates and reporting, working closely with senior leadership across finance and operations

  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all construction and support teams

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing complex, large-scale construction projects

  • Deep understanding of project scheduling tools and methodologies (P6, Earned Value Management, Last Planner System)

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with GMP and forecasting

  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of successful client and stakeholder engagement
