The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership skills, outstanding organisational abilities, and extensive knowledge of construction management principles and a keen eye for detail. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and contractors is crucial for success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and supervise the finishes on a construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage all on-site activities and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate the orders from project manager on site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and high-quality workmanship among site personnel.

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Good people management skills
  • Computer literature including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong mathematical skills - able to measure, scale, convert, etc
  • Ability to manage employees and subcontractors
  • Ability to address conflict situations
  • Flexible schedule when required
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
