Formal Qualification
- Relevant qualification: BSc Eng / BTech Eng / BEng / N.Dip Civil Engineering.
- Professional registration with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM).
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in construction management, with a focus on civil projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and local codes.
Special Requirements
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure all projects comply with SACPCMP standards, local building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control programs.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Allocate resources efficiently and manage project risks proactively.
- Prepare and present regular project reports, including financial and risk assessments.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the construction process.
