A well-established Construction Contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee building projects and lead on-site delivery teams. This role is suited to a senior construction professional with strong site leadership experience, solid contract knowledge, and a proven track record managing complex building projects from planning through execution.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Degree in a Built Environment discipline (Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar)
  • Professional registration or eligibility (e.g. SACPCMP / relevant construction professional body)
  • 10+ years’ experience in a Senior Construction role
  • Strong experience on building Construction Projects
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and project delivery processes
  • Experience using MS Project and estimating / construction software (e.g. CCS)
  • Oversee construction site operations and project delivery
  • Manage site teams including foremen, safety officers and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to programme, quality standards and budget
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
  • Monitor construction progress using project scheduling tools
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards and site regulations
