• Develop and implement construction SHE Management plans
• Conduct periodic SHE inspections and Audits
• Monthly audits on every contractor
• Hours management of own and contractor teams
• Legal appointments in place per contractor and own team
Contractor Management
• Manage appointed contractors to successful implementation of construction works
• Ensure well-co-ordinated construction implementation using integration meetings, scheduling and commercial conditions of contract.
•Close out procedure driven from day one
•Engineering Integrity sign offs
•Ensuring contractor schedules are received frequently and with the correct detail to monitor progress
•Interfacing with the Contracts manager to generate the relevant commercial letter
•Continuous review of the construction schedule to ensure the correct construction sequence
•Review of contractor equipment placement for smooth flowing construction
•Redline Drawings are managed and correctly marked up and verified.
Risk Management
• Identifying and capturing of construction risks on the risk register and communicating risks with stakeholders
•Development of mitigation plans and the implementation thereof to remove the risk
• Follow the PEP chapter
Document Control and Quality
• Develop and implement construction Quality Management plans
• Work with the Quality Manager to deliver a best quality product for the timeline and life span of the project
• Document control of all relevant documents
