Construction Manager - Renewable Energy Projects

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Construction Manager based in North/Central Brisbane; FIFO. The Construction Manager will lead and oversee the construction delivery phase of renewable energy projects, specifically this opportunity is for the Thermal Power Generation aspect of the Hybrid project.

This role requires a hands-on and practical leader with extensive experience managing complex construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll do as Construction Manager:

• Lead and manage all construction activities for renewable energy project from mobilization through to commissioning. 

• Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet project milestones. 

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution. 

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards. 

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and company policies. 

• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions proactively. 

• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to maintain positive relationships and ensure project requirements are met. 

• Prepare and present regular construction reports, including progress updates,

What we are looking for;

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Construction Manager with Renewable Energy Projects or similar role in Power Generation, Oil and Gas sectors. 
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices related to renewable energy infrastructure. 
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Qualifications: Mechanical or Electrical, Construction Management or Project Management desired. 
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. 
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts. 
• Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite. 
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or related fields
