About the role

J V Z Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager / Site Agent to lead infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, programme and manage site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and to specification.

  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage claims and variations.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and quality requirements.

  • Supervise labour, subcontractors, plant and materials to achieve efficient, cost-effective execution.

Minimum requirements

  • BEng / BSc / BTech / ND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Minimum 5 years' construction management experience on civil projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, including SANS 1200 and GCC.

  • Proven experience in civil construction projects, including pipelines, earthworks, roads and concrete works.

  • Valid driver's licence.
