We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a road maintenance project in the Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in SANRAL/COTO road construction andmaintenance projects, with proven technical and administrative capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Candidates must have practical administrative experience on SANRALcontracts, including:
Compilation of payment certificates
Preparation and implementation of method statements
Daily, weekly and monthly reports
ITIS
Contract and project documentation
Monitoring and reporting on project progress
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Qualification
National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
Required Experience & Knowledge
G2 base experience –COTO
C4 base experience
Layer works –COTO
Culverts, pipes and lined drains – COTO specifications
IRI – knowledge of how to achieve required IRI and practical experience
Planning, programming and project monitoring
Seals, chip and spray experience
A-R1 experience
S-C2 experience
Mix design experience
Asphalt Level 2 experience
Proven experience with the number of contracts completed in accordance with COTO requirements
Package & Remuneration
Negotiable, based on current remuneration and experience, with a maximum package of R90,000 Cost toCompany per month.
