Introduction

ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a mechanical and structural engineering contractor. They design, model, manufacture (including modular and off-site packages) and install work for data centres, pharmaceutical and biopharma, battery, medical devices, high-tech, logistics, power and industrial clients internationally.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This site-based leadership role offers full responsibility for CSA construction delivery on complex international projects, leading site teams and subcontractors to deliver safely on programme and to the required quality standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead day-to-day CSA construction activity, ensuring safe, on-programme and quality-compliant delivery.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply-chain partners across CSA packages.
• Coordinate with design, planning, commercial and MEP teams to resolve site-level interfaces.
• Monitor progress against programme and escalate risks, delays and resourcing issues early.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements on site.
• Support subcontractor performance management, coordination meetings and site instructions.
• Manage site records, inspections, non-conformances and close-out documentation.
• Support structured handover and lessons-learned capture at project completion.

Desired Experience & Qualification

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• 8+ years' site-based experience, including at least 3 years in a construction management role.
• Degree, diploma or trade background in construction management, civil/structural engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven site-based construction management experience on complex CSA or main-contracting projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and site logistics.
• Confident leading site teams, subcontractors and managing client-facing site relationships.
• Strong health, safety and quality management awareness.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Chartered status (e.g. CIOB equivalent) or working toward accreditation.
• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or high-tech construction projects.
• International project experience (e.g. Gulf, Africa or other multi-country delivery) is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to relocate internationally and work across global project locations.
