Key job responsibilities
-Design and implement streamlined intake processes for talent acquisition requests
-Develop comprehensive hiring demand plans by analyzing business objectives and workforce trends
-Transform complex data sets into actionable insights for business partners across the employee lifecycle
-Drive process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities
-Partner with stakeholders to align hiring strategies with business growth objectives
-Create and maintain analytics dashboards that enable data-driven decision making
-Identify opportunities for operational efficiency through data analysis and process optimization
About the team
Our team represents the recent merger of Talent Planning Services (TPS) and ASTA Analytics, combining strategic workforce planning with advanced analytics capabilities. We serve as the primary interface between Talent Acquisition and our analytics function, translating complex data into actionable insights while developing automated solutions. Our dual focus on planning and analytics enables us to deliver more streamlined, data-driven solutions for TA while continuously improving and automating our processes.
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
