Objectives of this Role

• Deliver exceptional design service that keeps clients coming back and builds lasting brand loyalty
• Work alongside your team to hit personal and store sales goals 
• Guide customers through furniture, layout, and design options, offering honest recommendations that fit their space, style, and budget
• Keep the showroom tidy, organized, and welcoming for every guest who walks through the door
• Represent Brashears with professionalism, creativity, and pride
• Treat every customer with genuine respect and courtesy

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm welcome as they enter the store
• Meet with customers to understand their style, needs, and space, offering design guidance and product recommendations
• Create room layouts, furniture pairings, and styling suggestions that bring a customer's vision to life
• Handle purchases accurately and efficiently
• Resolve customer concerns quickly, professionally, and with a positive attitude

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with people
• An eye for color, space planning, and design trends
• Solid math skills for measuring spaces and handling transactions
• Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
• A friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and Holidays

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in interior design, home furnishings, or retail sales
• Familiarity with space-planning
• Bilingual
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
