About the Role:

As an Interior Designer / Concept Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and directing the creative vision of interior spaces that align with client needs and brand identity. You will lead the conceptual development process from initial ideation through to final design execution, ensuring innovative and functional environments. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including architects, project managers, and clients to deliver cohesive and inspiring interior solutions. You will oversee design presentations, material selections, and spatial planning to create aesthetically pleasing and practical interiors. Ultimately, your leadership will drive the successful realization of projects that enhance user experience and meet business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and execution.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of spatial planning, color theory, materials, and lighting design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas clearly to clients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
  • Experience leading design teams or managing large-scale commercial or residential projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization tools such as Rhino, 3ds Max, or VR platforms.
  • Project management certification or experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead innovative interior design concepts that meet client requirements and project goals.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design with overall project plans.
  • Create detailed design presentations, mood boards, and 3D renderings to communicate concepts effectively.
  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting to enhance the design vision.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure design integrity during implementation.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and team members to foster creative growth and maintain design standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously elevate design quality.
